I've had a really wonderful birthday weekend. It's made me quite happy (: I have the best family and friends in the world! So yes ...

Friday we went to Mohegan Sun Casino and spent the night. We had some great laughs, great food and some alcohol ... ha! Then we went to gamble and I actually won $37! Haha, on the $.01 slots :D That's pretty darn ( Read more... )

It was a good day today (: We like those! 

• Work kept me busy most of the day, but it wasn't insanely hectic like yesterday; so that was a big plus.  
• Today my parent's celebrate their THIRTY-SIXTH anniversary ... Dayum. I got them a card which they loved :D And we will celebrate on my Birthday, as we do every year ... so that will be a lot of fun.

Annnnnd, we're home. It was a nice day and a half away. Before we left Tuesday, I met Trisha at Starbucks and we had a great time hanging out and chatting/laughing for two hours. There were these tiny birds (finches?) hoping around all over the place and one finally stopped long enough for me to snap a couple of photos (pictured below).

Today was a shopping day. It was actually fun, as it's been ages since I've spent a good 5ish hours shopping. Not that I bought 5 hours worth of stuff (:  It rained most of the morning, some crazy T-storms, which I loved. So we went around noon.

Had a pretty wonderful day. The weather was absolutely amazing ... it was downright perfect. I spent much of it outdoors, hanging out with the parents and reading. I had planned to go see the fireworks, but then my father lit the fire pit out back (first time we'd used it), and it was just too comforting.

It was quite a wonderful day. I love my father so very much and feel so very lucky to have him as a father.

We went out to eat and had the restaurant to ourselves, thanks to our early 'brunch' at the restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious and my father especially liked his meal.

The trip today was a lot of fun. There weren't that many of us, but I think it made it more interesting. Definitely hilarious. I freakin' think my professor is awesome.
